Established in 1962 by Habib Baladi, Baladi Frères sal has been a leader in the sales and servicing of ready mix concrete, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, industrial machinery and handling machinery for 55 years.
From the very start, we have been dedicated to bringing the best brands to the Lebanese market:
1968- acquired the dealership of Schwing
1972- acquired the dealership of JCB
1994- acquired the dealership of Massey Ferguson
1996- acquired the dealership of Linde
We have taken steps to evolve:
1974- founded BFC Industries a sister company licensed to manufacture Arbau concrete batching plants in Lebanon
1992- Carl Baladi the current Chairman joined the company after obtaining a business degree from the Universite de Geneve (he later did an MBA at ESA)
1994- first JCB factory visit to Baladi Freres and our JCB customers on the JCB private jet
1995- second JCB factory visit to Baladi Freres and our JCB customers on the JCB private jet
1997- grand Open Day with live JCB dancing diggers demonstration and machine testing at “The Project Lebanon” exhibition
1997- first 240Hp Massey Ferguson Agricultural tractor was introduced to Lebanon
1998- grand Massey Ferguson Open Day in the North of Lebanon to show local farmers how well Massey Ferguson tractors perform
2006- co-founded SPBF Offshore Sal to market tower cranes, passenger hoists and BMUs in Qatar
And we have been the firm of choice for many impressive orders:
- 1974- Sir Anthony Bamford, the Managing Director of JCB, came for the signature of a large loading shovel order with Lebanon’s Civil Defense
1994- delivered to Solidere the largest ready mix set-up for Lebanon at that time
2000- Installed the first Concrete Placing Boom that worked on a rail with 2 stationary pumps attached to it to pour the concrete of the BCD wave breaker
2004- signed a 48 forklift truck deal with Pepsi Cola
2004- introduced the first concrete placing boom to Lebanon that worked on the first High Rise building of Beirut, the Marina Tower
